More Favorite Ornaments

I just wanted to share a few more of my favorite ornaments and I'm joining up with Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday.

The first two are ornaments my children made.

The brown one is a small upturned flower pot that my son painted and hung on a ribbon.

Here are two star-shaped Santas.

Two porcelain hearts...

A glass heart that a friend painted for me

A blue seashell

And a ballerina angel

Whatever you celebrate, may it be blessed and joyous!

What's on your list?

Do any of you make a wish list for the holidays?  I know they are a little controversial, but I definitely make one, and my loved ones do, too.  We always list a lot of ideas so that gifts will still be a surprise.

Here are a few things I'd love to receive.

A Nook Color eReader

MAC Makeup Brushes

And of course, makeup to go with it (from Too Faced)

Also, crafting supplies!

Some perfume (Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh)

And some simple jewelry

Of course, I won't get most of these items, but that's okay.  I just love everything about the Christmas season.  What's on your wish list?

Pink Saturday

This week I thought I would feature some of my favorite ornaments.  I'm linking with Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday!

As you will see, most of my favorite ornaments just happen to be cats!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Pink Saturday

Hello, fellow bloggers!

Thanks for joining me as I link up with Beverly from How Sweet the Sound for another Pink Saturday.  Please take time to visit some other bloggers there!

Winter and the holidays are almost upon us.  We've even gotten chilled here in the southern Arizona desert.  Time for some new clothes and shoes, or at least some window shopping.  I thought in honor of Pink Saturday I would try to find as many cute pink items as possible.  Please note that the links and pictures I'm sharing are of plus size clothes, because I'm plus-size (and beautiful!), but I'm sure there are some Misses size counterparts, too.

Avenue Soft Tweed Blazer

Baroque Dusted Scarf

Woman Within Cropped Denim and Twill Jacket

Woman Within Ruffled Cotton Cardigan

Sejour Metallic Stripe Cardigan

Sejour Paillette Tank

Tierney Blouse

Military Jacket

Alia by Bloch in Briny Rose

So, rest assured that there is plenty of pink out there if you're thinking of wrapping yourself in it from head to toe!

Have a marvelous weekend!

Product Review

I've been meaning to do some product reviews, but time has been so limited.  However, I got a free sample of something that I really love, so I'm making the time!

I got a sample of new TRESemme hair products in the the mail.  I received packets of new Touchable Softness shampoo and conditioner, along with a generous coupon.

Let me tell you...I love how these products made my hair look and feel.  I definitely noticed more shine and body, and less frizz.  In addition, it has a nice, light fragrance.  Not flowery at all.  Hard to describe, but it's very fresh smelling.

These can be purchases at places like Target and drug stores.  There are other formulas, too, including Anti-Breakage, Climate-Control, Color, Moisture Rich, and Smooth.

Pink Christmas Tree

Someday I plan to have a smallish pink Christmas tree, similar to this one:

When I do, I'll have lots of lovely, feminine ornaments (pink, of course!).  It will have to sit in my craft room, however.  My husband would not be able to tolerate so much pink!

All images courtesy of Pinterest.

I'm hooking this up with Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday.

Button and Embellishment Christmas Tree

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving!  I know I did.

I'm so glad that we're finally officially in the Christmas season.  I am planning crafts, including homemade Christmas cards.

I wanted to share the first craft I've completed.  Here are most of the components that went into it:

And here's how it looks all finished:

It was a lot of fun and I love how it turned out.  All you need is a glue gun, a tree form, and whatever blingy embellishments and buttons you might have laying around!

I'll be back in a day or two with another Christmas post.
