You know that rumor about zombies coming...

Well, here in my city, they will arrive on October 13th!  Not to worry, though.  It's all for fun and to collect food and funds for our county's food bank.

I have yet to attend this extravaganza.  It seems a little too creepy to me, but friends who have gone say it is a fun-filled event.  This might be the year I take the plunge!  What costume should I wear??

People dress in costumes...anything from Alice in Wonderland to various animals.  The twist is that they use makeup to make themselves appear zombified (is that a word?).

Do you have anything like this in your community?  I'd love to hear about it!

Pink Saturday

So, what's everyone doing this Labor Day weekend?

Me, I'm painting the exterior of my house!

Okay, I'm not really using this color.  It's going to be off-white, because we're boring like that.  I have no idea what the trim color will be. It's going to take me at least two weekends to paint the rest, never mind the trim.  Maybe blue. :)

I hope you all are doing something more exciting!

I'm linking up with How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday.

Hugs,

Twitter

So, I'm doing the Twitter thing now.  I actually set up my account a year ago, but have only recently been more active on it.

If anyone wants to follow me, I'll follow you back. :)

Pink Saturday

It has been raining cats and dogs here in southern Arizona. We desperately need the rain, so I'm not complaining.  I am ill-prepared, however.  I think I might need a few things.

One of these.

Definitely these.

And maybe even this.

Tee hee.

I'm joining up with How Sweet the Sound. Be sure and go over there and visit some other pink bloggers!  Have a happy weekend!

Old Navy and Fall

Hi, everyone! I hope your weekend is going well.  How is your August coming along?  I've got fall on the brain, even though the temperatures here in southern Arizona don't agree with me.

I'm linking with How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday.

I made a couple of purchases at Old Navy today.

I think these sweaters will be great for transitioning into fall, and I needed some grey in my wardrobe.

I'm also loving these from Old Navy.  I'm going to wait for most of them to go on sale.  :)

I think the dress would look darling with this scarf!

Stay cool! I'll be dreaming of a gorgeous fall wardrobe!

Pink Saturday

Hello! I hope all of my lovely bloggy friends have been doing well.

I have been recovering from surgery, and also stressing about my job situation.  With all of that on my plate, I find that I really need to relax.  What's more relaxing than viewing some lovely pink images?!  All of these are courtesy of Pinterest.  I'm linking with Beverly at How Sweet The Sound.

Yes, I DO believe in pink!  Have a beautiful weekend.

P.S. Can anyone steer me in the direction of a website where I can make a new banner?  It must be easy, though.  I'm lost since Picnik closed it's site.
